How to Prepare Yourself for Ed Sheeran’s New Album ‘Divide’

Don’t. Panic. Ed Sheeran is gearing up to release a new album on Mar. 3, 2017 and we can hardly contain our excitement.

Ed just dropped the track list for his forthcoming album and after hearing his first two singles, “Shape of You” and “Castle On The Hill,” we can’t wait to see what Ed has in store for the rest of Divide.

After dropping two singles on us pretty much out of nowhere, we honestly feel completely unprepared for what’s coming next. We know we need to get ready for this new entire album of jaw-dropping, tear-inducing Ed tracks, and if you’re anything like us, you do, too.

Check out a step-by-step guide to help you prepare for Ed’s Divide album release. May the power of our favorite magical, musical redhead be with us all during this emotional time.

1) Take some deep breaths.

2) Listen to ‘+’ and ‘x’ front to back.

3) Pour over the ‘Divide’ track list and try to imagine what each song will sound like.

4) Stare at this photo and imagine a world where Ed surprises us with a country crossover track.

6) And this one of him as a small child.

7) Finally, just try to REMAIN CALM.
